Hello and welcome to my efolio, my name is Hashim Yonis and I believe that Education is powerful and offers more opportunities to be successful in the future. The more one educates himself or herself, the better person he or she becomes. Most importantly, learning is a means of growth and expanding a person’s horizons, which also means, sharing and distributing knowledge for those who are in need. Why am I interested in teaching in an urban school environment? I believe knowledge is the light that leads to wisdom. Knowledge is the life for one’s soul and the fuel for one’s character. I believe that if we as Americans help and share our knowledge and resources with one another, our children will become successful in the future. My goal as a teacher is to share my knowledge with all students.
